Bio

Ian C. Williams is an author, speaker, and business advisor. He has a Master’s in Public Affairs (MPA) with an emphasis in Leadership Strategy and Organizational Culture from the University of Minnesota. His background in education, mindfulness, and regenerative design informs his business advising. He works primarily with mission driven organizations to help them grow healthy cultures through process optimization, wellbeing integration, and environmental restoration.

Ian's humanitarian and environmental values were shaped by the landscapes of Minnesota during his youth. Then, a single, mystical, experience transformed his life at the age of 24. A decade of spiritual immersion and self-discovery followed, which revealed a fundamental truth: reviving ourselves is the only path to reviving the world. Now, he devotes himself to generating positive change for the common good through his personal and professional endeavors.

Designing the Internal Landscape: Personal Development for Cultural Transformation

You know that change begins with you, but do you know where to start or how to see it through?

Designing the Internal Landscape is a journey through the inner terrain. Foundational principles of personal development are synthesized with regenerative design, eastern spiritual philosophy, and the pragmatism of western science. This combination creates a conceptual framework that offers the audience an opportunity to gain personal clarity and spiritual insight.

Self reflection often leads to a cyclical process that doesn't yield tangible results. Designing the Internal Landscape combines theory with practice to engage the audience in a deeper relationship with themselves, one another, and the nature of life itself.

Culture by Design. Strategy by Choice. Impact by Default.

Leadership strategy for healthy cultures & organizational capacity.

A Sloan MIT report reveals that organizational culture is 10x more important than compensation in predicting turnover. Do you have a clear and concise path to creating company culture and elevating your business impact? Whether your company is in-person, hybrid, or fully remote, there are concrete steps you can take to increase employee engagement as well as organizational capacity.

This science-based presentation offers a simple and systematic approach to designing a healthy culture using strategic initiatives that generate real impact. It helps business leaders and organizations:

• Develop strategic leadership initiatives
• Create healthy cultures intentionally
• Improve organizational capacity
• Increase employee engagement and wellbeing
• Scale positive social and environmental business impact

Employee Engagement: A Holistic Wellbeing Perspective

Attract, retain, and motivate employees while improving brand loyalty and the customer experience.

Evidence shows that workforce values are shifting. Work related stress, worry, and anger are all on the rise. Moreover, only 34% of US employees are engaged at work. Elsewhere in the world, results aren't necessarily better.

This presentation provides your people with the foundational skills they need to take care of themselves, perform better at work, and have a greater impact in their communities and the environment. In this presentation you will learn how to:

• Understand different domains of wellbeing
• Strengthen time management skills and awareness
• Develop priority identification and “leveraged action” skill sets
• Cut through the clutter with tangible wellbeing techniques
• Create sustainable employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives that enhance brand loyalty and the customer experience
