Miguel Martinez

Miguel is an accomplished entrepreneur, with a portfolio of more than 15 years in sales, operations, marketing and business development. Using strategic, realistic approach to real world problems, he has consulted and worked with companies to achieve strong and continuous growth .

A frequent traveler, Miguel has visited over 50 countries including, China, Dubai, Switzerland, London and Australia, where he's consulted businesses and executives, motivated and trained sales teams, and empowered more than 1 million people through public speaking, trainings, leadership forums and seminars.

Born in Camden, New Jersey one of the toughest cities in the U.S., Miguel experienced all of the trials of rough city streets and drug infested street corners where hope was a dark place. At the age of 9 he was rescued by his grandmother and spent his remaining grade school years in Portsmouth Virginia along with his 5 year old sister, where they attended church regularly and was exposed to a more stable and healthy environment.

Miguel performed well all throughout high school until he made the life changing decision of dropping out in grade 11, in order to help support himself, his sister and 87 yr old grandmother at the time. If there is anything Miguel learned early, it was hustle and sacrifice. After his grandmother passed things took a left turn. Having no support system or adult family near, Miguel refused to go back to New Jersey. He tackled 3 jobs and at age 20, petitioned for legal custody of his sister, who was 15 at the time.

Through the years, Miguel would see her through high school, go back to school himself and eventually attend college later at age 32, where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA with 2 degrees from Hiillsborough Community College in Business. Miguel used his street fearlessness together with formal education to land himself a Senior Executive job at a 50 million dollar company but this was just the beginning. Miguel thrived in business development only to be recruited for another Senior Executive position 2 years later at a 400+ Million dollar company.

Having had corporate success, he decided to enroll at Harvards Executive program and was excepted. Earning credentials in the top of his classes in Entrepreneurship and Disruptive Strategy. Recently Miguel has dedicated himself to helping others, sharing his story and multi-dimensional experience via training seminars, personal and business development and sales coaching and through online videos.

There is so much more to his story, and this he offers to his audience to further connect. A dedicated husband, father and young grandfather, his now lives in Miami Florida with his wife and 2 year old daughter. His 2 sons, both 18 and 19 along with his 2 yr old grandson all reside in Virginia. They are all very close and spend time often.
