Mrs Roberts considers that her natural gift of public speaking, teaching, facilitating, and motivating has been honed through her multi-disciplinary education, training and diverse work experience, accumulated over a period of 30 years, including twenty-five (25) years at the management level. Mrs Roberts has a strong desire to see persons excel in their chosen field of endeavour and is committed to helping clients and other individuals become more aware of their inner greatness. Her frank, open and insightful nature enable her to communicate effectively with persons from various walks and stages of life.
Over the past 30 years, Mrs Roberts has from time to time enthusiastically shared of her considerable experience, and wealth of knowledge on a variety of topics to appreciative audiences at various local and regional fora. Key areas include ‘Leadership’. ‘Communication’, ‘Management’ and ‘Customer Service’. Insights into the importance of Emotional Intelligence for enhancing effectiveness, as well as the application of technologies of ‘Appreciative Inquiry’ and ‘Neuro-linguistic Programming’ inform much of her work.
Mrs Roberts recognises the ‘systems’ nature of performance at both the individual and organisational levels, and posits that personal growth programmes and the ensuing actions are critical for the holistic development of the individual for achieving goals and dreams. In her motivational talks, Mrs Roberts speaks from her heart, sharing stories with passion as she connects with her audiences, reminding them of their inner strengths for ‘Embracing the Odds’ along life’s journey. Motivational topics on which Mrs Roberts has shared include ‘Reclaiming Our Best Self’, ‘Raising the Bar’ and ‘Success is Who Your Are’.
She is a member of the ‘Les Brown Maximum Achievement Team’ (LBMAT), which brings together a powerful group of Professional Speakers, Trainers, and Coaches WORLDWIDE committed to motivating and helping persons to be achievers and leaders to make a positive difference across the globe.
Mrs Roberts has delivered presentations at conferences and to corporations locally and regionally. Clients to whom she has presented include St Kitts & Nevis Trading and Development Corporation Ltd (TDC), St Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Limited, St Kitts & Nevis Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Courts Unicomer St Kitts & Nevis and St Lucia, and Flow (formerly Cable & Wireless), in various territories of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States.
She is a qualified Economist, Accountant and Banker, and possesses a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).
Mrs Roberts feels blessed to be married to her caring husband, Wilmoth Roberts also an Accountant and to be the mother of six wonderful children.
