Moving From Leadership to Influence

What enables certain leaders to have significant influence while others are limited? It’s ultimately about the dynamics at play in human relationships, and relationships are the currency of our culture. The McKinsey Institute released a study in 2023 that showed the health of our working relationships are more important than our position in an organization. This is important, because leaders often rely on their position, expertise or skills to lead, sell and execute. This can turn a potential relationship into little more than a transaction. However, if we work to establish genuine relationships, we create opportunities for influence and impact. This demands developing the ability to cultivate long-term relationships with team members, clients and colleagues. In doing so, we will become individuals whom others trust, believing in both our credibility and integrity, and our influence will grow.

Finding Your Leadership Voice (Workshop)

While everyone has a leadership voice, not every voice is heard. Which means, there are team members in every meeting, on every project and on every team that is underutilized. What if every team member was able to bring their best to their teams and was invited to do so? What if every team member knew their leadership voice and how to use it? This workshop will help teams and leaders understand the value each team member brings, which will lead to greater collaboration and optimized team performance.
