Matthew Knabe

Matthew Knabe, MA, LPCC, is a licensed mental health therapist, a professional musician known for being a former touring guitarist with the Christian band Sonicflood, and currently hosts the Experience Emerge (ExEm) Podcast. He is the Director of Operations for Emerge Counseling Ministries. With his wife, Amy, Matthew is an active member of The Western Reserve Young Life Committee, a Board Member of Cornerstone Community School, and an elder at his home church at Redemption Chapel.

Matthew has extensive clinical experience and has spoken publicly on various topics related to spiritual transformation, burnout, depression, anxiety, and other related concerns. He holds a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and Mental Health from Ashland Theological Seminary.
