Armando Gonzalez

I am a native of San Diego. The "good kid" that came out of the ghetto. I was on the right path in life, doing the right things. Not recognizing the signs of distress and ignoring my inner cries for help, I started on a road to pain and suffering. For myself and those around me.

My trauma was death. From murder to suicide. I was the strong one. The one you would call for help. I was the one that needed help. I began to lose my purpose in life, I became self-destructive in work and in life. I lost empathy, desire, and love. I was driving on empty waiting for it all to end. With the help of renewed faith and the love of others I am back on solid ground.

I hope I can help others with telling the story of my journey
