Bio

Ashley Hudson is a lover of Jesus and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She lives in Denver with her high school sweetheart and two beautiful children. Through her practice, Pearl in Process, Ashley treats Trauma, difficulties with sexual functioning, and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Using a web of storytelling and practical teaching, Ashley strives to equip individuals and their support systems to properly detect and respond to life’s challenges with compassion. Ashley teaches in various spaces, provides both virtual and in-person therapy, and has written several books available through Amazon.

The goal of this talk is to inspire moms to embrace the sanctifying, hot mess life motherhood offers and teach them how to engage cognitive flexibility in the midst of modern day challenges. In this talk I review the nervous system and strategies for cultivating optimal health for the family system.

This talk provides education on the Highly Sensitive Personality trait (HSP), and discusses the implication of the deeply feeling nervous system on development and cognitive processing. Talking to your Kids about Sex

This talk uncomplicates the “sex talk” by equipping parents with practical skills for talking to their children about sex and bodies in a way that is empowering, non-shaming, and honoring.

Managing the Feels of Motherhood

A talk in which I share my personal experience of having a Perinatal Mood disorder. I discuss the role of anger and anxiety in female overall health, and equip parents with skills to better manage overwhelm.

Parenting Strong-Willed Children

A teaching that intends to support parents in understanding the underlying motivation of spirited behavior and equip them with skills to disciple and love their children well according to how they are wired.
