People Operations is based on the simple truth: to hold on to your talent, you have to understand and “take care” of your talent. Allowing employee choice based on analytics as opposed to emotional mandates is the cornerstone of People Operations.
Before working at Civitas, I held a variety of sales and operational leadership roles at various Retirement Center Management locations in the Greater Houston area over a span of 5 years. Before senior living, I started my professional career in non-profit volunteer management and community education.
I have been a guest speaker at the Texas Assisted Living Association and LeadingAge Texas Annual Conferences and currently serve on the Board of Directors of The Episcopal Seniors Foundation.
I lead with CliftonStrengths Top5: Relator, Self-Assurance, Focus, Futuristic, Strategic. In my time away from work, I enjoy traveling, visiting museums and practicing photography.
