Paul is a former hostage/crisis negotiator, professional interrogator and international peacekeeper. His highly successful dealings with hundreds of suspects, hostage takers and persons in crisis have helped Paul develop skills in the art and science of positive influence without manipulation as well as conflict resolution, which he now teaches in his keynote lectures globally. Paul combined what he learned from hostage negotiating with what he learned from professional interrogations to develop an easy to follow 4 step approach to successful business and life negotiations. And as his success in talking hostage takers into surrender and murderers and rapists to confess has taught him: even the toughest of negotiations can be won and the hardest of conflicts be turned into opportunity.
