Brad started his EMS career in 2004 in Bristol, Rhode Island and is currently employed by the University of Virginia Medical Center as a critical care flight paramedic with the hospital's aeromedical transport team. Brad served 7 years in Arlington, Virginia as a career firefighter/paramedic where had assignments in both field operations and the department's training divisions instructing EMT schools, conducting continuing ALS education, and developing the department's paramedic training program. Brad has a passion for enhancing the practice and education of prehospital clinicians and focuses his teaching on elevating the standard of prehospital care by introducing critical care concepts to paramedics around the country. Brad holds both clinical and didactic faculty positions within the Virginia Community College System and George Washington University in Washington DC.
