Trauma and the Rule of Two

~ Why do some people develop trauma symptoms when others don’t, even if their situations have been similar?
~ How can memories suddenly resurface many years later?
~ What is the purpose of nightmares and flashbacks?
~ Why do we go to such lengths to avoid dealing with our trauma when, in the right hands, it’s eminently healable?
~ And how do the different healing methods work?

This presentation answers all of these questions and provides a layman's framework to understand trauma – what it is, what it looks like, how to respond when it shows up how to conceptualize symptoms as an invitation to healing and growth.

Bad Stuff, Trauma & PTSD

A two part training series for coaches, therapists, medical professionals and all who hold sacred space, starting with a 2-hour introductory workshop, followed by a six week deep-dive class.
Participants learn about the pyramid of traumatic experience - ranging from trauma that is going on now all the way through to prenatal, epigenetic and ancestral trauma; how to recognize traumatic reactions, and how to meet them when they arise in our clients, our kiddos and ourselves. The course is packed full of practical interventions that participants can safely deploy in their work and home.

Better Boundaries

There are three types of boundaries, and one of them gives the whole concept of boundaries a bad name. When we say "I'm drawing a boundary!" we usually mean, "I'm cutting off relationship with you", not "I'd like to have a better relationship with you." In this talk Jane explains where the concept of boundaries originated, the three types of boundaries and how they operate, and how we can manage our own boundaries to improve our relationships, our energy and our wellbeing in the world.

Healing the Birth Story

A process to heal and resolve epigenetic, relational, ancestral and situational trauma that came with us into life when we were born.

Testimonials (1)
  • If you are working in the trauma informed space with your clients, you want to take this course, and even if you aren't, but notice that your clients come to your calls overwhelmed, stressed, unable to focus and full of feelings)---you want to take this course! Jane's teachings are immediately applicable to your work with clients. Her teaching style is multifaceted, and you will learn from the lectures, group practice, in lecture demonstrations, handouts, breakout groups, and Q and A. I cannot say enough good things about the depth of learning provided by this training and the safe, ethical space Jane provides. Jane is a VAST pillar of experience and knowledge, and she brings all if it in service of your learning. You will come away with tools and insights that serve both you and your clients. This is a training where you will WANT (rather than feel obligated) to be on the live calls, because of the depth of learning, the community of colleagues and ongoing opportunities to absorb new facets of content is ever-evolving. I looked forward to these sessions every week, and I was sad when they ended (no joke).
