I am a survivor—a survivor of physical and mental abuse, of circumstances that forced me to grow up before my time, and of battles with my own mind and heart. At 22, I have lived through a lifetime of challenges: navigating the depths of mental health struggles, enduring countless hospital visits, and overcoming the label of an ex-bipolar patient. I’ve been trapped in toxic relationships, cornered with no support, and left to feel like my only escape was the unthinkable.
But I chose to rise.
Today, as I stand here—still a student, still figuring life out—I am proof that no matter how relentless life may be, there is strength in survival. I am living proof that even when life cuts you no slack, you can find a way to thrive. I want to use my story to empower others—those battling mental health challenges, enduring relationship struggles, and feeling trapped in the chaos of their emotions.
This is not about gender, status, or labels. This is about humanity.
