Garima Gupta, the founder and CEO of Artha Learning Inc., has about 18 years of experience in the fields of learning and development, training, digital marketing, content creation, education, and software engineering. She holds an MEd in Adult Education, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and is a distinguished Certified Training & Development Professional (CTDP).

Leading her Canadian-based team, Garima consistently delivers award-winning e-learning and blended learning solutions to a diverse clientele. As a recognized thought leader in the digital learning space, she has spoken at numerous conferences throughout North America, sharing her expertise on tools, technology, and the importance of building continuous innovation, effectiveness, and efficiencies within the eLearning industry.

In her free time, Garima is dedicated to giving back to her community by volunteering with the local chapter for L&D professionals, mentoring new immigrants, and teaching a graduate diploma in eLearning design and development at a public college.

We will also talk about critical do’s and don’ts while planning to use chatGPT integration in eLearning modules. Some experience playing with chatGPT will be helpful for attendees.

What's better than an expert's vetted list of free or low-cost tools that will immediately supercharge your training efforts? How about getting that list with personal, tried, and tested recommendations on when, how, and where to use each of those tools? In this session, attendees will explore an eclectic list of sourcing and editing images, videos, and audio assets, tools to engage their learners whether in person, virtual, or online, and dabble into AI tools.

It's a fast-paced, value-packed session that has something for everyone.
Wide awareness of the tool landscape allows us to imagine and strategize the learning solutions more freely, and that is what we try to do in this session. In addition to interesting new and classic tools, learn how and when to use them, with some interesting real-life stories around a few! We’ll bring in tools from within and beyond the L&D universe for your attention!

eLearning’s superpower - Badass Branching!

How can you make eLearning more powerful, relevant, engaging and responsive to your learner's needs? When you have no new budget for an AI recommendation engine, or a XR based game or such - what are some solid, instructional design based tactics that can be used to level up a self-paced eLearning course?
Many learning leaders, as well as practitioners, come from the facilitation world, where linear learning design is a logistical necessity. But in digital learning, branching logic can be applied in many ways to achieve various outcomes. Unlike in-person experiences, eLearning can be built to branch out, allowing for content personalization, adaptation, learner choice, and real-life simulations. Branching is eLearning’s superpower - and a very underutilized one!

We will consider the elements that you need to be mindful of when story boarding/designing your course, best practices during development of your course, and then testing your course for accessibility. We will use Articulate Storyline to demonstrate these concepts, but the concepts are universal and can be used with any authoring tool you use.

Creating accessible courses is not just a requirement, but also best practice. It does not, however, have to be a lot of extra work. Learn how to easily integrate accessible-first mindset in the design and development of your eLearning course without sacrificing interactivity or workflow efficiency.
