J.R. Mascaro is an author, artist, and sorcerer based in the NYC metro area. He is the author of 'Seal, Sigil & Call: A New Approach to Ritual Magic' from Llewellyn Books, and writes 'The Fore-Cast' monthly rune casting on The Agora at Patheos Pagan online.
He has used his magical practice to navigate through life, and it is his desire to share with others the techniques and guides which have helped him to flourish. J.R. holds a B.A. in Anthropology with a concentration in Anthropology of Religion, and is currently pursuing his M.A. in Social Change at Starr King School for the Ministry, a Unitarian Universalist theological school and seminary. He is a member of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans.
J.R. is able to be booked for speaking engagements that fall within his areas of expertise, which include mindfulness, meditation, self actualization, ritual magic, divination, intuition, pagan spirituality, pen and ink art, writing, authorship, crafting, and folklore.
J.R. is also open to online appearances, he has access to both condenser and dynamic mic setups, and an HD external webcam. He is happy to meet in person at a professional studio, or remotely from his home studio for web media casting.
