Bill had spent months in a coma after a tragic accident while the doctors advised his family to ‘pull the plug’ (disconnect life support) Then, after awakening there was a whirlwind of devastating psychological and emotional events related to family, friends and finances that impacted his recovery.
A disabled Army Veteran living with memory loss due to Traumatic Brain Injury, Bill often used old photos to recall parts of his past life. He found one picture of a former girlfriend and kept it in his wallet for several months. Later, by chance Bill and Tiffany would reunite at a social event after decades apart, rekindle their love, marry and be compelled to help others.
