My name is Trystan Jones and I am a Storyteller, Activist, and Public Speaker.
My focuses are on Anti-Racism Activism and Climate Action. I have a history as an Anti-Racism Activist, having organized and taken part in a number of protests in 2020. We rallied in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement as well as around the racism we saw in our community.
I was chosen to speak at TEDxSFU's 10 Year Anniversary Conference in November 2020, where I spoke on the realities of racism in rural Canada.
I have appeared on acclaimed radio broadcasts such as As It Happens with Carol Off, where we discussed the power of words and the rise of Anti-Asian Racism in Canada. As a Bi-Racial Canadian, I hope to continue advancing this incredibly important conversation as we seek to tackle the generational reckoning that is the Anti-Racism movement.
