Bio

Ms. Tonya is a Women’s Hormonal Health Practitioner and workplace well-being strategist who created the FLOW Equity Framework™ a transformative organizational model helping companies improve retention, reduce presenteeism, and strengthen psychological safety by integrating hormonal health into workplace culture.

She partners with HR, DEI, and People Leaders to address one of the most underestimated drivers of burnout and disengagement: women’s hormonal health. With expertise in trauma-informed leadership and women’s performance science, she translates complex hormonal patterns into practical tools leaders can use to support focus, productivity, emotional regulation, and sustainable high performance.

Her upcoming TEDx-style keynote, Leading While Bleeding, delivers a powerful look at the lived experience of working and leading while navigating hormonal shifts inside systems never built with women in mind. It is the foundation of her future book and has already been described as “the talk that finally explains what women have been silently carrying.”

Her thought leadership has been featured in publications such as Female Entrepreneurs Magazine, solidifying her as a trusted voice in women’s leadership and workplace well-being.

Through keynotes, workshops, and her FLOW Equity Framework™, Ms. Tonya equips organizations with actionable strategies to support women’s well-being, elevate leadership potential, and build cultures where women can genuinely thrive not just survive.

Known for her bold, relatable, and results-focused delivery, she is the speaker organizations book when they want real culture change, backed by science, lived experience, and a modern understanding of women’s workplace needs.

Leading While Bleeding: What Women Experience & What Workplaces Miss

A TED-style keynote that takes audiences inside the lived experience of menstruating while working, leading, performing, and navigating expectations that were never built for women’s biology. Through relatable stories and science-backed insights, this talk reveals why women’s performance isn’t inconsistent — workplaces are. Attendees learn how hormonal patterns influence focus, communication, creativity, and stress, and walk away with a deeper understanding of what true support and psychological safety look like for women in demanding roles. An unforgettable talk that sparks empathy, culture change, and action.

Hormonal Health Workplace Benefits: The Missing Strategy for Retention, Presenteeism & Psychological

Women’s hormonal health affects productivity, focus, mental clarity, and engagement — yet it remains absent from most well-being strategies. This session uncovers how hormonal challenges drive presenteeism, burnout, and turnover, and introduces a modern benefits framework that supports women without increasing workload or budget. Leaders learn practical, evidence-based approaches that improve performance while creating psychologically safe, inclusive environments. Companies walk away with a roadmap that boosts retention, strengthens morale, and builds a culture where women can truly thrive.

The Hormonal Health Gap: A Hidden DEI & Mental Health Issue Costing Companies Millions

This talk exposes the overlooked connection between hormonal health, equity, mental health, and workplace performance. Women silently navigate symptoms that affect mood, stress tolerance, communication, and focus — all while trying to meet the standards of a system built without them in mind. This session offers a groundbreaking equity lens that helps DEI and HR teams understand the root causes of disengagement and turnover among women. Leaders learn how to design policies, benefits, and support systems that reduce stigma, foster belonging, and create workplaces that work for women.

Regulate to Elevate: Hormones, Trauma & Emotional Well-Being in High-Stress Workplaces

Emotional regulation, trauma history, and hormonal patterns are deeply connected — and they directly influence communication, performance, and psychological safety at work. This talk helps organizations better understand how women’s bodies respond to stress and why typical wellness advice often fails. Using research-backed strategies, attendees learn how hormonal shifts affect resilience, emotional bandwidth, and coping, and how workplaces can support women navigating high-pressure environments or past trauma. A powerful session for teams wanting to reduce conflict, increase empathy, and improve well-being.

The Female Performance Advantage: How Women Can Lead, Focus & Thrive Without Burnout

Women don’t need to push harder — they need to work in alignment with their hormonal performance patterns. This motivational yet strategic session teaches women how to optimize planning, deep work, creativity, communication, and decision-making through a cycle-aware performance model. Attendees learn how to manage energy without guilt, maximize strengths in each phase, and reduce the burnout cycles that sabotage success. Perfect for women’s leadership summits, ERGs, and professional development programs.
