I am currently a qualified behavioural therapist working with children and adults with mental health challenges. For my undergraduate degree, I studied Psychology as my interest in human behaviour came evident. This passion led to volunteer in different backgrounds from youth group work, and with refugee organisations. I also went graduated with a master’s degree in social work to further learn the interdisciplinary roots of mental health in different age ranges. Alongside my work and studies, I run workshops aimed to motivate the mind, body and soul of youngsters through a therapy called “Applied Behavioural Analysis”.
Learning all of this I am extremely motivated to use this therapy in a different setting such as refugees, autism and even in the workplace. For my Master's degree research, I wrote a study about “How emotional, spiritual intelligence and participation can influence the wellbeing of child refugees”. This is now my base for all my future work in this realm.
I have recently also published a book that looks at the combination of psychology, behavioural therapy, poetry and inner self- journaling called “The domains of Reality”.
My extracurricular work varies from:
- Being apart of an international research project with a university in the Netherlands on “The Issue of Child Protection in Areas of Violence”.
- My undergraduate project focused on ‘Can Meditation Influence Students Learning Attention?’
- Cofounded the Network Marketing Society to motivate like-minded people to connect and create their own business plans with the help of guest speakers.
