Bio

Subhajit Bhattacharya is a seasoned IT professional having a tenured experience, technology evangelist, entrepreneur, thought leader, mentor, author, life coach, and public speaker.

He has got deep experience into IT strategy for AI enablement, intelligent digital transformation, IT and management consulting, client acquisition, solution architecting, complex software engineering, delivery operations, portfolio management while working with some of the leading global organizations. He is currently serving Accenture as an Associate Vice President – Innovation.

Prior to Accenture, he had worked in Microsoft Center of Excellence at TATA Consultancy Services, further worked as an IT Applications Manager at Bank of America. Other organizations he worked were IBM, and GE (USA).

He is an honorary Advisory Council member of Harvard Business Review, USA. He has served as a business adviser and a board member for Indian IT startups. He is honored as an editorial board member of Bio-byword Scientific Publishing Company, Australia. He is closely associated with Government of India to promote Innovation & Entrepreneurship across pan India. He has been also honored as a mentor for startups by Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Entrepreneurial Development Council of India. He has been honored as a mentor for innovation and startup by MHRD Innovation Cell, Govt of India. He has represented India in the ASEAN India Hackathon organized by Ministry of Education. He is associated with the board of mentors for Entrepreneurship and Startup Cell for several universities. As a senior industry delegate, he is associated with several universities as a member of University Advisory Board. With his leadership vision, he has helped universities to setup their startup incubation labs.

He has been visiting consultant for government and government undertaking enterprises for IT enablement and consultancy. He has been invited to chair special sessions in the international conferences and has been a member of technical advisory board. For over 15 years, he has been associated with several colleges and universities as a guest lecturer, advisor to the board of studies, and for disseminating industry focused training as part of industry-academia knowledge exchange venture and mentored academic strategic programs.

He has written for several journals and research papers which were well acclaimed and published in the international journals, and he is a regular contributor to them. He is listed in the Google Scholar & Research Gate.

Subhajit has done Bachelor of Computer Applications, Master of Computer Applications from Vellore Institute of Technology, MBA (International Business) from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, and Executive Business Management (dual specialization in Marketing & HR) from IIT, Bombay.
