A graduate of Metropolitan College of New York with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, and a Human Resources Management certification, ShaWanda Manuel has over 20 years of experience and skills in administrative and organizational management, program development, and implementation of direct services to various programs and populations. She is an experienced Organizational Management Leader with a demonstrated history of success and effectiveness working within prominent non-profit organizations in New York City and South Florida.
Currently, ShaWanda is the Executive Coordinator at Change Machine, where she works collaboratively with the C-Level staff and leads the administrative processes to streamline efficiencies; serving as a liaison to the Board of Directors and working closely with key staff members to develop new funder engagements and cultivation strategies. ShaWanda also serves as Board President for Welcome Home SIS, a non-profit, safety net that caters to women who have been impacted by the criminal justice system, located in Byesville, Ohio.
Additionally, ShaWanda is the Founder of Family Connections Travel, a multifaceted company committed to connecting the crucial pieces of support, resources, referral, and services to aid families faced with the unrelenting impacts of incarceration.
While this agency is in the infancy stage, ShaWanda is committed to creating opportunities to empower, restore and rebuild families impacted by the criminal justice system. ShaWanda is dedicated and will continuously aspire to find avenues to “help others help themselves.”
