My message that I bring is passionate, sincere, true, and impactful. I strive to deliver a direct delivery that is inspirational with my intent to speak to results-based leadership. I engage the audience and coordinate active participation and evaluate what the audience or conference expects from his presentation.
Rufus Washington Jr was born December 02, 1961 in Birmingham, Alabama to Rufus Washington Sr. and Ruby Lee (Kent) Washington. I am the youngest of two older brothers. I believe success or failure is based on an individual's capacity to address three core life components: Attitude, Effort and our Actions. With that being stated my past is that of a single-family home, an abundance of influence from my uncles and cousins, and acceptance that it does often "takes a village" to raise a child in our society. I was fortunate to have served (30) thirty years of state and federal service to my state of Alabama and our great country. I continue to serve, learn, engage new opportunities, and embrace challenges in life. I am a very proud parent of four lovely children: Brandi, Candace, Whitney, and Amari. These four blessings have always been and will be a major component of my personal "Why". I personally look forward to meeting and speaking with you during various platforms.
