Roujin Mozaffarimehr is the Managing Partner of ImmiCore Law. She specializes in business immigration, student matters, family immigration, and naturalization. Roujin assists corporate clients including entrepreneurs, start-ups, and companies of all sizes across industries with developing their immigration programs, securing foreign talent, and ensuring compliance. She also serves as an advocate for her clients through federal litigation.
Roujin’s experience with a full spectrum of immigration matters provides clients with an in-depth source of knowledge that covers both corporate and individual client needs. She previously worked on a BALCA case that was adopted as a precedent decision.
Roujin is a recognized leader in the field and has served as an invited speaker at various national conferences and panel engagements including non-profit events, know your rights presentations, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) conferences, and other non-profit organizations. She is an active member of AILA—she serves on several AILA National Committees, is the current Chair of AILA’s Business Section Steering Committee, a Past Chair of AILA Santa Clara Valley Chapter (AILA SCV), and she continues to serve AILA SCV as the Chapter’s Media/Advocacy Liaison, where she regularly meets with congressional representatives both locally and in Washington D.C. to advocate for immigration reform. She is also an active member of the Iranian American Bar Association (IABA) and currently serves on the Executive Board of IABA NorCal.
Prior to ImmiCore Law, Roujin worked at boutique immigration firms in the Bay Area, most recently serving as Partner at Mathews and Peddibhotla Law Group. Roujin received her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara School of Law, where she received the Witkin Award for Excellence in Advanced Immigration Law and was selected as a Research Fellow at the Panetta Institute for Public Policy under the direction of Secretary Leon Panetta. During her tenure, she worked with the Northern California Innocence Project and the Katharine and Alexander Community Law Center’s immigration clinic. She received her MBA from Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business and her Bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University, where she served as a Hackworth Fellow at the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics.
Roujin is fluent in Farsi, with conversational fluency in Italian.
