Robert Parrinelli is a New York trial attorney and managing partner at Appell & Parrinelli, where he has focused on personal injury, construction accidents, medical malpractice, and wrongful death matters for more than 20 years. Over the course of his career, he has represented thousands of clients and secured numerous multi-million-dollar settlements through steady and detailed advocacy.
He grew up in the greater New York metropolitan area and began his path toward the law at Hofstra University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management in 2000. During his time there, he played on the Men's Division I Lacrosse Team and served as team captain during his senior year. That same season, he was chosen to compete in the U.S.I.L.A. North-South All-Star Game, which recognizes top collegiate players. After completing his undergraduate degree, he continued at Hofstra University School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 2003.
Following admission to the New York State Bar in 2004, Robert began his legal career in New York City as an associate trial attorney under the guidance of his mentor. Working closely together laid the groundwork for the later formation of Appell & Parrinelli, where he became a named and managing partner.
In his role, he leads a practice focused on individuals and families facing serious injury or loss. The firm handles motor vehicle accidents, construction and worksite injuries, premises liability, product defects, wrongful death, commercial property disputes, and medical malpractice. His approach emphasizes careful case selection and direct client involvement.
Throughout Robert's career, his firm has obtained many notable results, including $6.5 million for a child injured by a defective radiator, a $6.3 million verdict in a food-related product liability case, construction accident recoveries of $3.3 million and $3.1 million, a $2.7 million outcome in a medical malpractice matter involving a missed cardiac arrest diagnosis, and additional settlements of $3.1 million in a premises accident and $2.3 million in a motor vehicle case.
His work spans nearly every area of personal injury and civil trial law, including vehicle collisions, construction site incidents, unsafe property conditions, medical malpractice, product liability, toxic exposure, lead poisoning, labor discrimination, sexual harassment, and defamation.
He is admitted to practice in all New York State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is also a member of two statewide trial lawyer organizations.
Outside his litigation work, Robert Parrinelli mentors young attorneys and remains involved in youth sports, coaching lacrosse, and serving on the board of his local program. He also completed the New York City Marathon in support of a spinal cord injury nonprofit and continues to contribute to his alma mater.
