I join my work as an academic, creative leader, and international speaker with a deeply passionate focus on unexpected through-lines of the interdisciplinary. I have a professional background in performance, script development and Hollywood production. I hold the Ph.D. in English and American Literature from Harvard University, the M.A. in Creative Writing from Boston University, and a double honors B.A. degree in Mathematics and English from the University of Pennsylvania.

As Chair of Creative Writing and Theater at The University of Hong Kong, I founded and directed the M.A. in Creative Communications and the M.F.A. in Creative Writing, integrating critical and creative studies. I have also co-founded Guild Hong Kong, where I continue to work with today’s young creative leaders and interdisciplinary innovators across the arts, sciences, and tech, nurturing and directing projects in creative writing, multimedia production, theatre, performance, and AI research.

I am an award-winning writer and director, honored to have my work recognized in both academic and creative communities, worldwide. I have been privileged to speak at renowned institutions, including the University of Exeter, the Global Seminars at Salzburg, and Harvard University.
