Bio

I'm just a girl from South Georgia, a girl who has been through hell and back. From crack addiction and a broken marriage to child loss and rising from the ashes of hell, I have an incredible story to share.

I am a law school graduate who was prepping for the Bar when I found out I was expecting. I put the Bar to the side and crawled in bed to cry for the next several weeks as my plans of leaving my ex had just crumbled into a million pieces upon seeing those two pink lines.

Two months after she was born, I left my toxic ex and I never looked back. Emi had a very rare genetic illness and we were blessed with her for sixteen months before she took her last breath in my arms.

The first few months were incredibly rough. I was so depressed and very angry. I did not want to live. I just wanted to be with Emi Baby.

Eventually, I decided to stand up and fight for my life and that's when I transformed a very cool rainbow story surrounding her death into a children's book that is being illustrated now. It took my finding some kind of light in the dark to have the will to continue on and that I did. I am also currently writing a memoir that is sure to be a page turner.

I am on a very intense healing journey. and I am ready to share my story with others. I am ready to share the story of how I was able to find that tiny sliver of light at the lowest point in my life and turn it into purpose so that I may re-write my story and start really living for the first time ever at the age of 41.
