Linda Souders had one of those traditional American starts to life—born to a homemaker mother and an engineer father, raised by both, and a sales executive stepfather in the middle-class
suburbs of Ohio where she went to school, marched to orders, tried to not make waves, and graduated with a B.F.A. from
Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. For three decades she strived to create The Fairytale Picture by working as a graphic design art and creative director in Cincinnati, New York City and San Francisco,
finding her Prince Charming, marrying, buying a home, having
a beautiful baby, volunteering in her community, and doing all
the things she was supposed to do. All the while she read
voraciously the wisdom teachings of Joseph Campbell, Thích Nhất Hạnh, Pema Chödrön, Ram Dass, and many others. As her mental programs evolved, The Fairytale Picture disintegrated into divorce, and she was dragged by the fates into The Flow to
become a certified holistic health educator and massage therapist (CMT), a registered yoga teacher (200-RYT), a Master Journey Meditation Teacher, a national board-certified health and wellness coach (NBC-HWC), and a writer. She passionately appreciates each moment of this never-ending personal evolution—this wild, exhilarating ride, called Life—mysteriously unfolding moment
by moment. All the while, continually learning, growing, evolving, and passing on “the wisdom teachings” to help others far and wide.
