Lehlohonolo Mazindo is a HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa) Registered Counsellor, Marriage Therapist and Mental Health Practitioner in Private Practice since the year 2006. He has 16 years’ experience in the psychology, counselling and psychotherapy profession. He currently teaches Psychology and Counselling at the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP) since 2018.
Lehlohonolo worked for FAMSA (Families South Africa) as Counsellor, Trainer & Community Developer in 2006, and he subsequently served as Board Member in the same organisation from 2010 to 2017. He also worked for Free State Department of Social Development as Community Development Supervisor. He furthermore served as Tutor for Psychology at UNISA (University of South Africa). He also served as International Facilitator & Master Trainer at I CAN FOUNDATION under the mentorship of Dr. David Molapo.
He has the following qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Industrial Psychology
Bachelor of Psychology
Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management
In his professional capacity, Lehlohonolo has over the years provided inspirational talks, trainings, psycho-education, consulting services, wellness programmes and psychological services to various institutions in both public and private sectors including SAPS, Department of Education, Central University of Technology, North West University, Old Mutual, Department of Correctional Services, UNISA, Department of Health, South African College of Applied Psychology, and Anglo Gold.
Lehlohonolo is a highly sought-after conference, seminar, keynote and motivational speaker throughout the country. He is a published author of two books titled, Together till the End: A Blueprint for Successful Marriage; and Think or Shrink: Explore Your Mind to Expand Your Life.
He has featured on various national television programs including Vusaseki on SABC 2 (2020), Now or Never on SABC 2 (2021), After the Vows on SABC 2 (2021), Unleashing Your Potential on Soweto TV (2022), BEEF on eReality (2022), and Daily Thetha SABC 1 (2022). He has also featured as a Mental Health and Relationship Expert on various local and national radio programs including Radio Pulpit, Kaya FM, The Rock FM, Rainbow FM, Mahikeng FM, Hope Alive Radio, Massiv Metro, Radio Bop, SABC Africa Channel Radio, Power FM, Motsweding FM, SAfm, and Metro FM.
