Aloha, I’m Kim. As a creative strategist I've led workshops and facilitated brainstorms with the finest design and creative agencies in the world, for the most creative companies on the planet. Apple, Wolff Olins, The New York Times, Badger & Winters, Google and The Washington Post are just a few of my favorite clients.
But, here's the kicker - not many people know the ins and outs of facilitating for ideas or building collaboration within teams. In fact, plenty of creatives aren't a fan of the term 'creative brainstorm' and the negative baggage it contains. The reality is that some of the finest ideas spring from both creatives and non-creative titles, but facilitation is the key to unlocking greatness in everyone.
So, I've created a workshop which quickly and painlessly teaches everyone how to facilitate a workshop, creative brainstorm or meeting. I customize each workshop for the conference, company, or university who bring me in and leave behind a guide with all the steps and exercises in the workshop.
I have an MA in Film and Media Theory from the University of Auckland and have over a decade of experience promoting creative collaboration. I also like to build communities and empower others, my Ladies Who Strategize slack group has grown to 800 members from all over the globe.
