Kevin Alston II

Kevin Alston II is an award-winning former communications professor who has taught at four different institutions. His story to that point is one of the most unique of any of his peers. Though it took him seven years to earn his undergrad, he went on to become one of the top students in his graduate program, and began teaching in the classroom a semester after graduating.

Admittedly, one of the least likely professors amongst his colleagues, he brought an authentic and refreshing approach to his classrooms that culminated in him being recognized with the Outstanding Professor Award for his unique pedagogy.

He quickly noticed his ability to impact and maximize the lives and academic successes of students and adults alike. “I wasn’t magna cum laude, yet, here I was teaching college courses. I have had the pleasure of teaching and developing traditional-aged students and adult learners (at Strayer University) and to have a Master Sergeant come to me after the class and commend me for my ability to engage and make the content relevant to his field, and I’ve never been in the military. I am authentic about it, and it’s easy to feel that when I speak.”

He began Introvice in 2019 as a platform to expand his impact beyond the classroom, creating videos, launching his first book “Man the F Up!!”, and speaking on topics ranging from enhancing confidence and self-esteem, co-parenting and being a great father, advice on connecting in the classroom, and a host of other topics related to motivation, success, and purpose.
