Testimonials (4)
  • Katherine kindly did a presentation for the Employee Resource Group for People With Disabilities here at Blend Labs, Inc. on May 31st on the topic of Neurodiversity in the Workplace. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say that Katherine's presentation was riveting. She first explained what neurodiversity is and what it's not. She then talked about how successful companies like HP have hired & cultivated neurodiverse employees which made them 33% more productive. Katherine also advised us on how to incorporate an appreciation for neurodiverse job applications within our hiring process. This morning, in fact, I onboarded a group of new employees and for the first time I mentioned Blend's willingness to provide reasonable accommodations for people with visible and invisible disabilities. It went over extremely well. Last week, I had two applicants request accommodations in our interviewing process which we readily granted. I was much better prepared thanks to Katherine's outstanding presentation. The timing couldn't have better and we couldn't have had a more knowledgeable and effective speaker. Hats off to Katherine!

  • Katherine McCord is smart, savvy, and engaging. She is a charismatic speaker, as evidenced by her compelling and informative productions: Super Mania Show and Career Launch Live. Time with Katherine is always well spent. I have been fortunate to be a guest on her Career Launch Live show twice. I have been impressed by her candor and her preparedness. It is exciting to hear her thought process, as she always encourages me to think about things in new ways. Katherine is the kind of speaker who values what everyone has to share yet does not hesitate to respectfully guide participants to examine and explore other perspectives. To me, she is the best kind of speaker: someone who makes me feel seen while allowing me to see others. I give Katherine McCord my highest recommendation.
