Bio

I have more than 20 years of legal experience and 15 years teaching and higher education administration experience. I have worked for all theee branches of the government (judicial law clerk, US House of Representatives Office of the Legislative Counsel , US Department of Education Office for Civil Right) rights ); as a consultant (Mecklenburg County North Carolina Department of Social Services and Health Department); private law practice. I have taught at highly ranked Davidson College and Wake Forest University Law School. I have published articles and top-tier journals and I regularly speak on issues on issues of health law (reproductive health, patients' rights, insurance, public health issues, and cultural competency); trusts and estates (the changing American family and the flaws of intestate succession, the importance of estate planning; planned giving); and higher education (alternatives to tenure, diversity on campuses, leadership). the states, and they go to education throughout the country and internationally. I'm experienced In HIPAA, Affordable Care Act, Stark Law, and ERISA.
