Karen Alleyne-Means is a certified life coach specializing in helping her clients find their purpose in life and business. She is the founder of KAM Enterprises Inc., which is her media, personal development and consulting business, and Emergent Soul. Her purpose is to teach others that what happens to you in life does not define who you are. As a coach and speaker, she is reaching people on an international level. Emergent Soul is her platform for helping people transform their lives after loss. Karen serves anyone who has gone through a life-changing experience, such as divorce, loss of a loved one, severe illness, or job loss. This is how she was dubbed the Loss Conversion Specialist.
Karen was born in Washington, DC but raised in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas. She attended boarding school in Boca Raton, FL, and then headed north to obtain her Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Emory University and her Master of Business Administration in marketing from Clark Atlanta University. She has been certified as a coach by the Academy of Coaching Cognition, which is a member of the International Coaching Federation.
Karen is the mother to three children who have seen her make changes daily in order to improve her life as well as theirs, with a renewed purpose, joy, and laughter. Karen resides in Wellington, FL with her husband Shawn, their two children, Kellen and Kelsey and their cats, Puffy & Kato.
