Originally a "Seasoned Sysadmin", and by that I mean a sysadmin with a sense of humor?... To summarize I am a passionate sysadmin/people person who is always up for a new challenge. Gateway drug into sysadmin was Linux in the early days of compiling your own Kernel. As thing got complex this led me more into development and to cooking things up with Chef, creating dashboards and automating anything I got my hands on. Living the devops life I ended up replacing myself with tools which led me to more complex systems, People.

As a people manager I work with individuals and teams. I continue to apply system thinking into new subset of problems, or in other words, teams are my new microservices. My approach is to concentrate on growing and helping people unlock their potentials. This can be by either by coaching the individual or working on organization development to change the environment.
