Bio

James A. DeMeo, M.S. brings extensive security, law enforcement & consulting experience to both the public/private sectors. Mr. DeMeo was recognized by Security Magazine as The Most Influential People in Security 2017. Mr. DeMeo is also the author of the bestselling book on family safety & preparedness entitled, What’s Your Plan? A Step-By-Step Guide To Keep Your Family Safe During Emergency Situations.

DeMeo earned his Master of Science degree in Sport Management from Adelphi University. Mr. DeMeo's nearly three decades of industry experience include serving as Security Officer and Campus Operations Trainer at Texas A&M University Health Science Center and detective at Nassau County Police Department. He is currently the founder and CEO of Unified Sports & Entertainment Security Consulting (USESC), and a member of ASIS International.
