As a steward of business strategy, Jacqueline takes a proactive, networked approach to managing the many perspectives, relationships, and interactions within government, academia, industry, and stakeholders who comprise or influence innovation, economic development, and human resources.

Jacqueline is bilingual (conversational French) and of Ojibwe ancestry (M’Chigeeng First Nations).

Jacqueline is the founder of an initiative called ArtStart, currently managed by the Edmonton City Centre Church Corporation (E4C). The project grew to provide children in the inner-city with opportunity and exposure to the arts as well as the opportunity to develop their talents by establishing a multi-disciplinary arts education program.

Bringing about change from a community perspective

The role of a community leader:
Somehow, in some way, Jacqueline developed thick skin to endure a decade or more of striving for her goals while encountering failures along the way. She’s learned to never retreat from challenges, transition her thinking, and measure success by how many failures you’ve experienced.
Bringing about change depends on how well and how often you cultivate yourself; know yourself; know your strengths; and can more quickly ascertain where your value lies in the eyes of others.
