This discussion walks through how we need to embrace less is more with a grounding on the power of 3. We then discuss how to utilize Voice of Customer by bringing customers into the ensemble and making them aware of changes before the internal team. With this focus on external requirements before internal ones, we cut out the busy work to stay productive in a shorter amount of time, avoiding burnout. That productivity allows for time to become your ally while a foe to everyone else.
Takeaways:
1. Less is more using the power of 3.
2. Customers need to be in the ensemble.
3. Time is your ally if you let it be.

Unleash Creativity To Increase Productivity

This discussion walks through understanding how being unfocused is a form of fear that needs to be recognized and conquered with purposeful actions. To make that easier, intentional fun is used to break down resistance to change. That breakdown allows people to be more open with each other and communicate about others' interests. Finally, when people are having fun and engaging in communication, they are present in the now to find an eagerness with customers to deliver value.
Takeaways:
1. Being open encourages creativity.
2. Staying present builds trust.
3. Intentional fun reduces stress for better productivity

Communicate Strategy to Engage Your Culture

This discussion breaks down the difference between what we think we communicate and what people receive. We need to understand the 5 C’s of communication and the seven influences on our subconscious bias to unlock that perception difference. Utilizing the tool called the power of 3 and 5, we understand the when what and how of communicating the strategy on a personal level. Finally, we get to see how this drives faster innovation that forces the strategy to be a living document that needs to keep up with an aligned, focused company.
Takeaways:
1. Set out the top 3 objectives; talk about only those constantly.
2. When you think everyone knows the message, they are just starting to hear it.
3. Tell everyone, individually, how they impact the strategy.

Happiness at work is possible

This discussion walks through how happiness at work is possible. There is an examination of what really makes people happy and how we can relate to each other in a more meaningful way. We explore how our brains determine value and understanding. Once we have that fundamental comprehension, people can execute on ideas everyone can contribute to and want to work on.
Takeaways:
1. You need 5 positive to 1 negative interaction.
2. Misery at work comes from not understanding the value of doing any task.
3. Being actively heard and contributing creates happiness

The Five Letter F Word™

This discussion is all about focus. We bring out why we get so distracted, how counter-productive it is to have a lot of things to do, and a useful way to remove the busy work. Finally, having a natural perspective of having every person we interact with as a customer brings a richer experience that allows for value.
Takeaways:
1. Setting people up for success means eliminating distractions.
2. Communication is more important than being right.
3. Everyone is a customer.
