Air Force Veteran Gene Folkes is a former Contestant on NBC'S The Apprentice, author and international business strategist who has collaborated with Fortune 5 companies, Wall Street Executives, Washington Lobbyist, and Global Leaders on creating solutions to some of the worlds most pressing challenges. A former Senior Wealth Manager affiliated with JP Morgan Chase, AIG, and Merrill Lynch, respectively. Gene Folkes is a sought after speaker and social/political analyst who has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Black Enterprise Magazine, People Magazine, USA Today, Dallas Morning News, The Daily Post, and several international publications throughout the world. As a Business/Political contributor, Gene has appeared on the BBC, BBC Radio, CNN, CNBC, Good Morning, Britain, The Associated Press as well as other international television programs. Gene Folkes has contributed to two number one bestselling books regarding his insight regarding his time on the Apprentice with now President Trump. Gene has served on the Executive board of the Boys and Girls Club, The Louis Rawls Foundation and is a mentor to young men and women of color seeking entrepreneurial advice and guidance. Gene holds a Masters in Organizational Leadership with a Project Management Specialization and is the Co-Founder of Folkes International group, Inc. A Virtual, Multicultural Team Manifestó

This program discuss the challenges of Consultants/Change Leaders working for a global company, who are leading a multinational teams and has been informed that due to a global pandemic, most of the work will happen virtually. This person must collaborate with a team consisting of Americans, Germans, and Vietnamese nationalities, some of whom only work on the project part-time; and some of whom have only basic English skills. We also must contend with the idea of having a project sponsor, who is a high-level American manager with whom we have not previously worked. Our goal is to get a better understanding of the cultural differences between the involved countries.
