I am a Mindset Coach that integrates the teachings of the Bible and Psychology. My education is a BA & MA in Psychology. I grew up in Long Beach, CA where there was constant activation of the fight or flight responses due to gang violence and lack of resources to live a normal life.
I lost my oldest brother due to gang violence, which changed the course of my family and my life forever. I use the experiences of overcoming poverty, addiction, oppression and loss as a way to help others own their struggle in order to heal and move forward into their calling.
Common problems I had to conquer coming out of the gang violence environment is: negative self-talk, imposter syndrome, sense-of-self, self-efficacy, self-sabotage, emotional regulation, discipline of impulses and time management.
These are the same topics I speak about and also coach others on as majority of the time it is all just in the head. These mental blocks starve us of the life that we are supposed to have. That is why I am on a mission to spread the word, that when we own every part of our struggle and journey, is when we can overcome it.
