Reid and Lisa Barker

We are Lisa and Reid Barker. High school sweethearts from Frisco, TX. Our lives have been touched and radically changed by organ donation. Lisa received the gift of life through a liver transplant in 2014 from her hero, and organ donor, Courtney Ray Sterling. Reid gave the gift of life, as a living kidney donor, to his friend Jon in 2018.

Our goal in life is to inspire others to carry hope in their sufferings. No matter the trials or challenges we are currently facing, God gives us grace to sustain! We hope you will see the goodness of God shine brightly through our stories of organ donation. Being an organ donor is the most selfless decision you can make, and that gift of life is such a beautiful reflection of the gospel of Jesus.
