Christine Hallas-Appleby

I am a female entrepreneur established for over 26 years. I have founded four companies which are continuing to grow offering high quality products and services. I am the director of Say Two Productions Ltd which deals with the events management and entertainment. I have entered into the corporate world by developing Creative Communication Skills Ltd through which I have transferred the public speaking and presentation skills from oration to presentation. These sessions offer businesses accreditation qualifications which is useful for the university students. I am a regular lecturer and speaker at University of Central Lancashire, where I work with students studying business, free lancing and entrepreneur leadership. I am also trained in giving advice on diet and nutrition as I am a dietitian.I am also trained in directing films. My work as a professional actress, TV. theatre and film director, university lecturer and qualified Public Speaking, communication and presentation skills coach means that over the course of my career, I have acquired the confidence and skills to pass on to other women who wish to develop the potential to continue to grow, gain the confidence and assertive skills to achieve their desired goals. My first business was set up twenty-eight years ago, at that time when few women were striving for equality and respect as individuals in their chosen fields. My journey has been exciting, however, it required me to remain, strong, determined and have the ability to learn fast, regarding leadership skills and the patriarchal world of business. Through my international work I have developed strong relationships with females from other cultures who have their own issues regarding confidence and business. At the top of my wish list is to develop and inspire other females from all classes, cultures and backgrounds to become strong female role-models who will nurture, coach and support in all areas of their lives.
