My career has led me to specialize increasingly in the management of multi-cultural commercial and noncommercial undertakings and their international mix of working and reporting format; this has been in market and business development fronts.
Over the years, I have gained experience in: strategic forward-planning; operating within the tight financial disciplines imposed by ambitious plans and commercial budgets which I have helped to plan; methodical administration to deadlines (not to speak of crisis management where necessary);
Further, I have come to appreciate both as a team leader and team member that much is achieved with a and through teams; I appreciate application of modern leadership methods through staff motivation and involvement in both decision-making and target-setting, clarity in communication, and easy personal inter-relations as one of the keys to unlocking results and strategic advantage.
In conclusion, my own ambitious background and analytical interests in commercial operations, market/business development, commercial excellence and growing in my career and exposure to multicultural work styles has continued to establish my confidence in handling high level negotiations that require the reconciliation of different approaches to otherwise common problems as well as sell and lobby for my teams and organizations, a role I have been successful at in my previous and current positions.
