I have been through more in my lifetime than anyone should have to live through. I've survived an eating disorder, multiple sexual assaults, sexual harassment in the workforce and in academia...but I am so glad I did. Because without all of that pain and hardship, I would never have had the opportunity to see grace in action. I would never have witnessed ordinary humans in my life become the angels I used to pray for all along. Now, I want to speak about how important it is to know exactly how strong you really are when you open your heart and let the people around you help you.
