Michel Fotsing is a cybersecurity and AI architect, and a consultant at the Ministry of Cybersecurity and Digital Affairs (Quebec), where he works on securing OT environments and structuring cybersecurity strategies aligned with the NIST CSF 2.0 framework. A member of the ISC2 Examination Review Board (CISSP), he contributes to the development of international cybersecurity standards.
Author of the book The Digital Architect: Orchestrating Intelligence in the Age of AI (January 2026) and the newsletter followed by over 1,600 executives, CIOs, and experts, Michel is a thought leader in hybrid systems governance. His Three Zones framework (Automated, Augmented, Sanctuary) helps organizations map out where AI should decide autonomously, where it should assist, and where humans should remain in control.
With over 11 years of hands-on experience, Michel has led the securing of critical infrastructures, Azure cloud platforms, and AI solutions (computer vision, autonomous agents). He excels in balancing automation and control, performance and resilience, innovation and governance.
His presentations combine pedagogy, real-life cases (cyberattacks in 2.7 seconds, flash crashes, automation failures), and practical tools for executive committees. Michel addresses professionals who need to orchestrate AI without becoming technicians: executives, CIOs, CISOs, transformation leads, and consultants.
