Cybersecurity Expert

I have been helping my clients secure their systems and networks from all types of security threats through my information technology company since 1995.

The landscape of IT security and cybersecurity is constantly changing and evolving; I have witnessed an alarming increase in threats and an equally alarming resistance to implement effective solutions. Companies must secure their systems and their data from both outside attacks and internal threats.

As a consultant who has been actively working in this field for over 20 years, I am able to bring awareness to the latest cyber-threats as well as provide the most current solutions to many different types of cybersecurity flaws found in many of today's corporations - both large and small.

My experience allows me to provide practical, actionable solutions to today's threats so your company is protected!

Workplace Safety Expert

Every day we witness a new type of threat to today's workers and the companies they work for. Disgruntled and former employees can pose serious threats to workplace safety. Random or targeted threats from deranged individuals are another factor to consider when working to improve the safety and security of your employees. Vendors and contractors have employee turnover and enter your business all the time. How do you know if one will decide to resort to random violence? The answer is - you don't.

I have been helping others learn how to protect themselves for over 20 years from all types threats to their personal safety and security. There are various physical threats that exist depending upon your physical location where you are - at home, at work, at school, in your car, at the store, the bank, etc.

In addition, there are the various physical positions you may be in such as sitting, standing, walking, lying down, driving and others. Each of these has potential security risks associated with it.

The time to prepare is before the need arises! Get educated and prepared so that you employees know what to do when a problem occurs. It is not a matter of IF, but a matter of WHEN.

Armed with Awareness™ - Recognizing Workplace Threats Before Problems Arise

Establishing routines and staying within our comfort zones breeds complacency – both online and offline. Just because you have never been a victim of identity theft or sexual assault doesn’t mean it can’t happen to you. Ignoring a problem does not make it go away. This keynote is intense, and gets to the root of why most people ignore situations until they become victims. It will inspire others to not be complacent, but proactive in being aware and prepared before the need to act arises.

The Warrior Mindset - Developing the Mental Tenacity to Break Through Obstacles and Limitations

Everyone is faced with obstacles in life – it is the ones who have the Warrior Mindset that allows them to go though, around, under or over anything between them and their goals. This keynote enables the audience to identity with various traits of the warrior including patience, harmony, fortitude, courage, innovation, respect, discipline, teamwork and focus and learn how to apply them to the challenges they face every day in school, work, relationships and more. It is a very empowering keynote, and will leave attendees with a renewed sense of being able to achieve anything they set out to do – in business, in school and in life!

Online Threats Lead To Offline Safety Concerns: Learn How To Identify & Reduce Their Impact

Online threats are typically not given the attention they deserve, yet the chances of someone being affected from an online threat are much greater than offline safety concerns. Online threats can develop into offline personal safety risks without proper understanding and recognition. This session will allow participants to understand, identify and define numerous online safety threats that will allow them to formulate and apply solutions to keep students, staff and faculty safer and more secure, in both the digital world and the physical world. Attendees will better understand and be able to identify the multitude of online safety risks they face every day from emails, web sites, cell phones and social media and then learn how to increase their security from these risks. The correlation between online safety concerns and offline safety concerns will be addressed and the impact of inaction and complacency will be discussed.

Space Invaders: Learning How To Define Your Personal Space & Recognize Safety Concerns

Everyone has a different point at which they decide enough is enough. This personal breaking point exists for each situation that pushes us to our limits of tolerance. Our personal space is also an area where we have boundaries. If someone gets too close to you or in your face, you must have a predetermined and established “line” that will force you to act if crossed. This can be a physical line such as when someone gets too close, or it can be an invisible mental or emotional “line in the sand.” The important thing for each one of us is to recognize what it is and when someone crosses it. If you have never defined this personal space, you will not know what to do. Anything that comes inside your predefined area may be perceived as a threat to your personal safety. From simply making you feel uncomfortable to physical assault, it is imperative to help you deal with others on both a personal and professional level. This session goes into depth on how each of us has different limits.
