Joshua Leaston

Joshua Isaac Leaston, MD, is a physician, speaker, and storyteller whose journey from a challenging upbringing in Boston to earning his medical degree from Stanford University embodies the very resilience he now teaches. A first-generation college graduate, Joshua studied neuroscience at Northeastern University before pursuing medicine at Stanford, where he conducted research in neuroimaging and contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications.

Beyond the hospital, he co-founded Envision Difference, a national nonprofit supporting unhoused individuals. His first book, 24 Days of Resilience, shares actionable lessons and personal reflections to help others rise above hardship.

Joshua now speaks on resilience, leadership, and purpose. He is bridging lived experience with academic insight to empower others to lead lives of impact.
