Hello, thanks for stopping by!
With over a decade in the podcasting industry, Lance Reenstierna has some lessons to share and some stories to tell. While working at Crawlspace Media, the company he co-founded with Tim Pilleri in 2017, Lance has had a hand in producing successful shows like Missing, Crawlspace, Death by Incarceration and most recently, Dark Valley, which was an official selection of the Tribeca Film Festival.
So many industry professionals expound on the business of podcasting. Marketing, ad-sales, how to grow your subscription base and so much more. So much more data. So. Much. Data.
That is not Lance’s intention or ultimate goal when presenting.
The art of storytelling through podcasts possesses a distinctively human (and compassionate) element, particularly when recounting the experiences of others, which frequently involve distressing events. What obligations accompany this endeavor? How can one narrate the stories of others with reverence, precision, and utmost excellence? Lance has refined this skill and endeavors to employ it in every production undertaken by Crawlspace Media, while also considering the impact on the communities involved.
Lance's ability to effectively address the management of all these aspects, while simultaneously preserving your mental well-being, quality of life, and steering clear of the daunting imposter syndrome, is equally significant.
With humor and heart, Lance is dedicated to spreading the word on how to navigate these paths and find the root purpose to why we do what we do. As previously mentioned, many lessons have been learned along the way, many moments where he tripped up and had to figure out the best way to recover.
The message that Lance intends to convey integrates his love of yoga, meditation, cooking, tattoos, beekeeping, community engagement, and his life partner, along with their cherished long-haired dachshund son Erik (full name Leif Erickson).
Lance has presented at a number of events including 5 CrimeCons, 2 Obsessed-Fests, The Northwest Arkansas True Crime Fest, as well as dozens of live podcast events.
