Erin Merelli

Erin Merelli is a Death Doula, Public Speaker, and co-founder of Deathwives - an education platform that democratizes deathcare, builds community, and widens the narrative around death and dying.

She believes that tending to the dying is one of the most important metrics of a healthy community, and teaches that when we are better prepared for death we can exercise more choice and autonomy when it inevitably arrives.

In her work, Erin trains Death Doulas and Home Funeral Guides, and advocates for green burial methods and environmental reform in the death industry. As a speaker, Erin teaches on the topics of community-based care, the importance of grief, ritual, ancestry, and the esoteric.
