Kerry Graves, CCTP, MSW, LCSWA, is a native of Greensboro, NC. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from N.C. State University in 1999 and 2001 in Social Work. He went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has volunteered as an NASW-NC Board Member and Committees- PAC and Legislative. He has also been on the APSAC Board as a member and President. Kerry enjoyed working as the Child Welfare Collaborative Coordinator and Lecturer in the Social Work Department at N.C. State University and Clinical Instructor at the UNC Chapel Hill FCRP Program.

Kerry began as a therapist in 2006 working with children in the child welfare system who had undergone trauma and expanded to community care as a therapist and clinical supervisor. Kerry has a passion for working with adolescents and young adults and utilizes the therapeutic approaches of CBT, DBT, Trauma Focused, Play Therapy and Psychoanalytic Therapy.
