Project Engineer (Systems) working within the Railway and time severed Toolmaker with over 6 years of experience within the manufacturing and Rail industry.
Additionally a STEM and National Apprenticeship Ambassador with a passion for inspiring young people and women specifically to peruse roles regardless of the stereotype whilst bringing industry insight into academia.
I started my career as an Apprentice Toolmaker working within the Automotive industry at the age of 16, followed by working within the NPI (New product introduction) department and now in Rail. As the only female working within a heavy industrial environment for a large part of my career, I have had my fair share of challenges and stereotypes to knock down along the way.
Throughout my career I have been an advocate for challenging the 'norm' and bringing insight to young people around possible careers ahead as we create a more inclusive world to thrive in.
I am determined to be the voice and guidance I tirelessly searched for as a young apprentice, I provide the tools for resilience in the work place and help organisations to create a safe, inclusive and diverse workplace where phycological safety is at the forefront of everything they do.
