Yovanka Sanchez is a Latin media personality, entrepreneur, producer, storyteller, and activist. She is the visionary founder behind La Mariposa Films, a trailblazing media brand dedicated to empowering women through captivating content and engaging experiences.

Sanchez is a Latin media expert with more than twenty years of knowledge and experience in front and behind the cameras. Yovanka began her career in her native Mexico with the giant Latin American multi-mass media company Televisa.

In 1997 Yovanka became the entertainment face for Primer Impacto, an acclaimed television show of largest Hispanic media network in the US, Univision.

Her daily presence on the television screen would bring the juiciest interviews or stories with the biggest Latin celebrities like Selena, Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Jlo, Sofia Vergara, Roselyn Sanchez, Alicia Machado, and many others.

A few years later in 2002, she joined Latin media giant Telemundo, the American Spanish-language terrestrial television network owned by NBCUniversal. Here, Sanchez created, produced, and hosted exclusive special interviews, Barbara Walters style, with Latin celebrities and developed other shows for the network focus on women.

Yovanka, who is fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Italian, has traveled and lived around the globe because of her father’s diplomatic career. She combines her unique upbringing and global perspectives with her creative projects & productions, speeches, and storytelling workshops.
